Lady Lake woman arrested after illicit activity suspected at likely drug house

Randell Kathleen Trice

A 23-year-old Lady Lake woman was arrested early Thursday morning after law enforcement noted a high volume of traffic arriving and departing from a suspected drug house.

Lake County sheriff’s deputies received several citizens’ complaints about suspected illicit activity at  the “well known” residence at 4041 Azalea Way.

Randell Kathleen Trice was seen exiting the house and driving away in a white Ford pickup truck.

During a traffic stop on Grays Airport Road, Trice gave a deputy a false name. A search of Trice’s handbag turned up a scale with the residue of methamphetamine.

When Trice was being processed at the Lake County Jail, her true identity was discovered. It was also determined she was wanted on a Lake County warrant and had been driving on a suspended license.

She was booked at the jail on $5,000 bond.
