A 35-year-old Lady Lake man is being held without bond at the Lake County Jail on burglary and grand theft charges in a case from 2014.
Matthew Robert Wise of 7778 County Road 190D had been arrested in December on the charges. He had been free on $8,000.
However, after repeatedly failing to show up for court dates, he was ordered to be jailed. He was booked at the jail on Friday afternoon following his arrest by Lake County sheriff’s deputies.
Wise, who is being represented by the public defender’s office, is due on Sept. 15in front of Judge Don F. Briggs.
