Joan ‘Jo Jo’ Colonna

Joan “Jo Jo” Colonna of The Villages, Fla. passed away Jan. 29, 2018 at the young age of 68. She was born in Chicago where she met and married the love of her life, Richard. She is survived by her adoring and loving husband of 44 years. She was a Villages’ resident for 14 years. She had a wonderful circle of friends and was commonly known as the “Neighborhood Watch Lady.”

Joan is also survived by her brother-in-law, Sammy and the late Guido (Sharon); stepson, Todd (Lori); stepdaughter, Dena; 7 grandchildren and a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. She is the cherished aunt and god-mother to Cathy (Jeff) Lange. She is also the dearest best friend to Dianne, Kirt and Wendy Jens. 

Visitation and Memorial Service

Memorial services will be held at Beyers Funeral Home, 134 N. Hwy 27/441, Lady Lake on Saturday, February 3, 2018. Visitation for family and friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m. with a prayer service beginning at 2:00 p.m
