Jeannette Polson

Jeannette Polson, 82 of Leesburg, FL, passed away April 23, 2018. She was born August 20, 1935 in Parkman, OH to Robert and Thelma Whitcom Fenton.

Mrs. Polson was employed for many years by the State of Ohio as a Social Worker, retiring in 1995. In her retirement, she enjoyed traveling and especially loved playing cards as well as leading bible study groups. Locally, she attended Trinity Assembly of God in Fruitland Park, FL and was a leader for the “Celebrate Recovery” program.

A beloved and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, her survivors include: husband of 64 years Robert “Bob” Polson; sons Michael Robert and Jeffrey Lee (Annette) Polson, both of Ohio; grandchildren: Ashley (David) Ozburn, Craig (Lora) Petersheim, Kurt (Tara) Petersheim, Mary Elizabeth (Richard) Larson, Michael Polson and Esther Polson; 11 great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents as well as 2 daughters: Robin Day Polson and Melodie Petersheim.

A Memorial Service will be held at Trinity Assembly of God, 200 Urick St, Fruitland Park, FL on Wednesday April 25, 2018 beginning at 2 p.m. with Pastor Chuck Padgett officiating.
