Janette Conerly

Janette Conerly, 81, of Fruitland Park, Florida, passed away Monday, January 15 in Tavares. Born in Lake City, FL, Janette moved to Leesburg in 1956 from Astatula, FL.

She was a member of Covenant Life Church of God, and was a retired telephone operator for Florida Telephone Corporation. Janette was very involved with her church, loved spending time with her family and enjoyed cooking.

She is survived by her sons, Allen Conerly, Jr. (Nancy) of Fruitland Park, and Lester L Conerly of The Villages, FL; daughter, Sheila Anderson (Mason), of Fruitland Park; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Douglas Conerly and a brother, John Henry Turner.

Viewings will be held Thursday, January 18, from 6 – 8 p.m. and Friday, January 19, from 1 – 2 p.m. at Trinity Assembly of God in Fruitland Park, followed by a funeral service Friday, January 19 at 2 p.m. at Trinity. Interment at Lone Oak Cemetery.
