Jan Lamb, 74, of The Villages, FL, born in Shelburne, Nova Scotia, raised in Sault Ste Marie, Canada, died on July 4th 2018.

Jan spent over 36 years serving her country as a Department of Defense and Federal Emergency Management Agency civilian where she was ultimately responsible for emergency mitigation for those affected by some of the most devastating hurricanes and floods our country has experienced. Her love for animals was immense.

She is survived by her loving husband Joe, to whom she was married for 57 years; her daughter Jeanette, her son Jeffrey, three grandchildren (Shelbi Aris, Jeffrey, Kristen) four sisters (Linda, Sharon, Sandra, Wendy) and three brothers (William, Robert, Richard). Her son Joey preceded her in death in 2003.

Funeral Services are on July 13, 2018 at St Marks The Evangelist at 10 a.m.
