Jacqueline Rose Sevenbergen

Jacqueline Rose Bodley Sevenbergen, 86, of Leesburg, FL, passed away on Monday, May 21, 2018 at the Frank & Helen DeScipio Hospice House in Tavares, FL. She was born in Akron, OH on July 8, 1931 to Walter Sherman and Gertrude Bertha Denman Bodley.

She married the love of her life, Keith Arnold Sevenbergen on July 19, 1958 and they lived in Mansfield, OH until they moved the entire family to Leesburg, FL in November 1968. They were married for almost 51 years.

She was a loving and devoted wife and mother and always had a smile on her face. She worked 30+ years in retail jewelry sales, most of that time at Devon Jewelers located in Palm Plaza, Leesburg, FL. She was a member of Morrison United Methodist Church in Leesburg FL for almost 50 years and was very active in many areas of the church. She loved music and singing and belonged to the MUMC Chancel Choir for more than 40 years. When the church started a thrift store (MUMC Opportunity Shop) in 1999, she and her husband Keith were among the founding volunteers and board members. They both volunteered their time for many years.

She is survived by her sons: Stanley M (Nina) Coe of Leesburg FL, William C (Debra) Coe of Ft. Myers FL, John A Sevenbergen of Leesburg FL, her daughter: Vicki S (R Stanley) Bair of Fruitland Park FL and her grandchildren: Misty Williams of Naples FL, Walter C Coe of Ocala FL, Lindsey (Eric) Hesselbirg of Ft Myers FL, Beverly D Coe of Leesburg FL and Caleb Coe of Ft. Myers FL, as well as many nieces and nephews located in California, Florida, Iowa, Ohio and elsewhere. She is preceded in death by her husband, both of her parents, her brother Walter Bodley, her sister Claire Bodley Cipris and her son Steven Walter Coe.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday May 30, 2018 from 6 p.m to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial services will be held on Thursday May 31, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Morrison United Methodist Church Sanctuary with a reception following in the MUMC Juanita Gregg Family Life Center and then internment will be at the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell FL.

For those who wish or in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Morrison United Methodist Church Music Ministry.
