‘It’s not the gun???’

To the Editor:

School shootings . . . Here we go again, in Texas.  The NRA will shout again, “It’s not the gun that kills.”
A disturbed individual cannot kill multiple victims in a matter of minutes, with his bare hands. Congress is gonna do nothing . . . They have proved that. It is completely shameful how they can look the other way when it comes to the deaths of school students, but scream bloody murder at the abortionist.
And the gun owners? Second Amendment rights?  Surely you keep your guns locked up;  So where is your defense should an intruder invade your privacy?  You wouldn’t have time to get your weapons of defense. And what about you gun owners that are careless with your artillery? Such as what led to the deaths of nine students and one adult recently in Santa Fe, Texas. Congress is never going to change, as long as the NRA is in their pockets.  But the survivors of fallen students will search elsewhere for retribution, mainly by tracking the source of what led to the deaths of their loved ones.
