I don’t subscribe to Daily Sun so why does my amenity money pay for Recreation News?

To the Editor:

What is the deal with our amenities being charged for an increase in the cost of producing the Recreation News?  I have not subscribed to the Daily Sun for three years. It is not a newspaper, it is a selling tool for The Villages.  First, there is no reason to include the Recreation News in the newspaper. A few Rec News left at each Rec Center would be more than enough. Second, if the Daily Sun is charging a subscription fee for the delivery of The Daily Sun, then increase the price of the paper, so the subscribers who receive this Rec News weekly can pay for it.
Why should I pay when I don’t even get the paper?  Third, put it online and eliminate it altogether.  What a waste of paper!
