How hypocritical can you get?

To the Editor:

Republicans, being pro life, believe that the fetus inside the womb should by any means, be saved to live birth.  Flip the token, and let the other side represent all deaths by assault rifles since Columbine.  Republicans and the NRA could care less about these lost souls. Every time there is a shooting via assault rifles, they buy even more guns, fearing that they could lose their Second Amendment rights.
They claim they need assault rifles as protection, should someone invade their private home. “Leave the school students to fend for themselves;  I’ve got my protection, and nobody’s gonna take it from me!”  They think that Democrats are trying to take away the Second Amendment. The ONLY thing ANYONE is trying to do, is to BAN assault weapons from being made or sold. Don’t worry, Reps, no one is gonna come looking’ under your grandma’s mattress to get your rifle.
And Florida legislators made me want to vomit. Having a prayer for the deceased students of Douglas High School, then voting down a proposal to ban assault rifles?
How hypocritical can you get? While they were “praying”, they were probably thinking about  all the money they are getting from the NRA.
