Harold Scott ‘Harry’ Stoltzfus

Harold Scott Stoltzfus (Harry), age 55, passed away on March 21, 2018 in Fruitland Park, Florida of natural causes. He was the son of John O. and the late Priscilla S. (Stoltzfus) Stoltzfus.

He was a 1982 graduate of Lancaster Mennonite High School and a 1986 graduate of Goshen College with a B.A. in political science. He spent a study service trimester in Belize City, Belize Central America. He served 4 years in the United States Navy in naval intelligence from 1986 to 1990 serving on the USS Coral Sea. He was very proud to have served two terms on Lancaster City Council. He loved politics.

Harry is survived by the mother of his son, Amy Campbell-Stoltzfus, New Holland, and his son, Jack, New Holland. He is also survived by his father, John O. Stoltzfus, Lancaster; his sister, Ann (Ron) Miller, Mount Joy; brothers: Merv (Ruth), McKinney, Texas; Sam (Beth), Lancaster; Vern (Melissa), Conestoga; and Nathan Fugate.

He was preceded in death by his mother and his brother, John R. Stoltzfus. Harry is survived by his large extended family in Lancaster County as well as the Boyer and Campbell families.

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family
