A homeowner in the Village of Belle Aire will appear later this month before the Architectural Review Committee regarding a half-finished driveway project.
The property at 3033 Macon Court, owned by Adrian Iveson and Zachary Morl, was the subject of a public hearing Friday morning before the Community Development District 3 Board of Supervisors. The home is located in the Valdosta Villas in the Village of Belle Aire.
A complaint was received Jan. 8 by Community Standards about a partially painted driveway at the property. The project began without the homeowner first securing ARC approval.
After multiple communications from Community Standards, the homeowner finally applied to the ARC and will appear before that body on March 21. The indication is that the project will likely win approval.
“The fundamental problem is they did not apply to the ARC. Even afterward when they received several communications, they still did not apply to the ARC,” said CDD 3 Chairman Bill Ray.
The board voted to impose fines if the property is not brought into compliance.
CDD 3 Supervisor Gail Lazenby noted the fines could be avoided by properly going through the ARC process.
