Gov. Scott cancels planned trip to Villages due to funerals for students killed in school shooting

Gov. Rick Scott’s visit to The Villages, scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 20 has been canceled.

He will be in South Florida to attend funerals of some of those students slain, last week, at Parkland’s Marjory Stoneham Douglas High School.

No rescheduled date for the ceremony at The Villages has been announced.
