To the Editor:
On the first cool evening in quite awhile, my wife and I decided to go to Sumter Landing, sit out and listen to music.
Before and during the band’s first break hundreds of golf carts circled the square, blasting their horns.
My initial reaction was that they would stop once the band started their second set. But no, they continued to disrupt the band and restaurant patrons around the square for at least an hour.
My wife and I thought their actions were rude to the band and disrespectful to their fellow Villagers. We skipped dinner and went home.
Have fun, get your message out, but don’t do it at the expense of your neighbors.
