An Ocala golf cart dealer called Marion County deputies recently to report the theft of two golf carts and a trailer.

According to a sheriff’s office report, an employee at Friendship Center Golf Carts, located at 10949 SW 93rd Ter., reported the crime after discovering that a 1984 Club Car cart valued at $1,000, a 2005 E-Z-Go cart valued at $2,150, and a 2012 16-foot, dual-axle Triple Crown trailer valued at $1,900 were missing from a fenced-in lot that is connected to the business’ warehouse.

The deputy who investigated the crime side said two gates on the property were damaged. The man who reported the theft said he was last at the property Friday, May 11, and remembers seeing the missing items at the business then.
