Frederick Wagner

Frederick Wagner, age 80, of The Villages, FL, passed away on January 16, 2018. He was born in Grand Ledge, MI on August 11, 1937.

Fred served in the US Air Force and retired after 20 years. Fred met and married his wife Eleanor in Alaska. They moved to Ohio to raise their family. He was a truck driver, Teamster and has been happily retired for 30 years.

Fred and Eleanor moved to The Villages in 1999 from New Madison, Ohio. He was an avid golfer and member of the Guys and Dolls Club. He enjoyed gardening, painting pots for his garden and napping in his garden with all his wildlife friends.

He is survived by his daughter Marla Lee Wagner and son Mark F. Wagner both of The Villages, FL; niece Brenda Lee of Eaton, OH; grandson Jacob Lee and granddaughter Samantha Lee. He was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years Eleanor Wagner who passed away on March 15, 2017.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Villages Hospice House, 601 Casa Bella, The Villages, FL 32162.
