Francis Thomas Gorman

Francis Thomas Gorman, 93, of Summerfield, Florida, passed away July 11, 2017 at Estelle’s Hospice House, Ocala, Florida. He was the husband of Joan E. Gorman for 64 years.

Frank was born in Girardville, Pennsylvania a son of the late Francis and Sara Gorman. He was a Veteran of the US Navy serving during WWII in the US Submarine force. He was a graduate of Drexel University and furthered his education at USC. He was a mechanical engineer with the US Department of Defense.

Frank will be deeply missed by his wife, Joan and daughter, Joanna Hugney of Fairfax Station, VA and son, Frank Gorman of Jacksonville, FL. He has 8 grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, July17, 2017 at 4:30 p.m., at the Club House of Del Webb Spruce Creek Golf & Country Club,13601 Del Webb Blvd, Summerfield, FL 34491.
