Fox News commentator Tucker Carlson coming to The Villages

Fox News political commentator Tucker Carlson is coming to The Villages.

The host of “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” who also has written several books, will be at Barnes & Noble in Lake Sumter Landing on Oct. 6 at 2:30 p.m. to sign copies of his latest work, “Ship of Fools: How a Selfish Ruling Class Is Bringing America to the Brink of Revolution.”

Fox News political commentator Tucker Carlson’s latest book is titled ‘Ship of Fools: How a Selfish Ruling Class Is Bringing America to the Brink of Revolution.’

In the book, Carlson offers some of his signature political commentary on how America’s ruling class has failed everyday Americans. The introduction of the book sets the stage with vintage Carlson commentary: “You look on in horror, helpless and desperate.” “You have nowhere to go.” “You’re trapped on a ship of fools.”

In his latest book, ‘Ship of Fools: How a Selfish Ruling Class Is Bringing America to the Brink of Revolution,’ Tucker Carlson offers his thoughts on the elites of both political parties and how everyday Americans are going to have to figure out how to put the country back together.
Tucker Carlson appeared on ‘Dancing with the Stars’ in 2006. He is shown after a performance with dancing partner Elena Grinenko.

Throughout this latest offering, Carlson offers a “blistering critique” of the elites of both political parties, who many believe are so out of touch that regular citizens are going to have figure out how to put our country back together again.

Carlson is no stranger to Florida’s Friendliest Hometown. He was here April 13, 2010 to appear on fellow Fox commentator Sean Hannity’s show which originated from Lake Sumter Landing. Also appearing were two rising GOP stars in Florida – Marco Rubio who was running for U.S. Senate and Pam Bondi, a candidate for attorney general.

Many fans surely remember Carlson’s appearance on “Dancing With the Stars” in 2006 when he was the host of MSNBC’s “Tucker.”

Carlson’s October appearance will mark the third visit to The Villages from a Fox News personality in recent months. Bret Baier signed copies of his newest book, “Three Days in Moscow: Ronald Reagan and the Fall of the Soviet Empire” for a large crowd of fans in May. And Greg Gutfeld is scheduled to sign copies of his latest offering, “The Gutfeld Monologues: Classic Rants From The Five,” on Aug. 25.

Tucker Carlson is no stranger to The Villages, having visited here several years ago to appear on fellow commentator Sean Hannity’s television show from Lake Sumter Landing.
