The Florida Highway Patrol has been called in to investigate a fatal accident which occurred Tuesday morning at Morse Boulevard and County Road 466.
The name of the person killed in the accident has not been released, pending notification of next of kin.
The accident snarled traffic in the vicinity of the already-busy intersection.
The Sumter County Sheriff’s Office and Villages Public Safety Department also responded to the scene of the accident.
