Family-owned Habanero’s Mexican Grill anticipates a February opening at Southern Trace Plaza in The Villages.

The restaurant will be moving into the former Crispers location. The location features an outdoor patio.

Habanero’s Mexican Grill is moving into the former home of Crisper’s at Southern Trace Plaza.

The first Habanero’s Mexican Grill opened in 1999 at the University of Central Florida in Orlando.The family went on to open restaurants in Leesburg, Winter Park, Longwood, Oviedo, Sanford and North Fort Myers.
