Emergency personnel respond to scene of accident on U.S. Hwy. 27/441 near La Plaza Grande

Emergency personnel were on the scene of an accident Tuesday afternoon on U.S. Hwy. 27/441 near La Plaza Grande.
The accident occurred at about 2:15 p.m. when a silver Saturn collided with a red Ford Focus that appeared to have been westbound on on U.S. Hwy. 27/441. The Ford’s airbag deployed as a result of the crash.

Two cars collided Tuesday on U.S. Hwy. 27/441.

Lady Lake police and Lake county EMS responded to the scene.
