Edward T. ‘Eddie Patterson

Eddie Patterson, 84, an Irishman, went to heaven on St. Patrick’s Day, Saturday, March 17, 2018.  Eddie and Lena moved to The Villages in 1999 from Long Island.

Eddie was a Rigger in a shipyard and later worked as a Concierge in Mid-town Manhattan. His favorite pastimes were deep-water fishing on his 15 footer, Lulu-Mae and antiquing. He liked to entertain others and he and his wife, Lena performed in several Villages shows produced by Magical Moments.  He was a pool monitor for several years at all the Recreation Centers.

He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Lena; children, Louise and her husband, Willy, Vinnie and his fiancée, Kathi; sisters, Clarenda, Barbara, Mae Mae and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Joyce.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Research Children’s Hospital.

A memorial service will be held Monday, April 2, 2018 at 3 p.m at the funeral home. The family will receive friends following the service.
