Edward J. Gaudette Jr.

Edward J. Gaudette Jr., 85, of The Villages, Florida, passed away on April 2, 2018.  Ed was born August 1932 in Boston, Mass., to Edward J. Gaudette and Madeleine Comeau.

He retired from Holmes Products in Milford, Mass as an Architectural Model maker and moved to The Villages, Florida.  He loved playing softball.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 61 years, Beverly; his son, David Gaudette and daughter-in-law Linda of Bend, Oregon; his daughter, Cheryl Boyd and son-in-law Drew of Pleasanton, California; his grandchildren: Marisa Labrec of Peoria, Illinois, Shane Boyd of Livermore, California, Jennifer Gaudette of Brighton, Mass. and Kelly Gaudette of Cambridge, Mass.; his sister, Yvonne Danahy of Franklin, Mass., his brother, Philip Gaudette and sister-in-law Claire of The Villages, Florida, brother Ted Gaudette and sister-in-law Terry of Troy, Virginia and sister Jeanne Gaudette (Ray Champagne) of Weymouth. He was preceded in death by his mother, Madeleine Gaudette; father, Edward J. Gaudette; sisters: Cecile Lemieux and Francis Doody; brother, Richard Gaudette and a son, Brian Gaudette.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at 8:30 a.m. at St. Timothy Catholic Church in The Villages, FL with interment to follow at Florida National Cemetery Thursday at 11 a.m.

Memorial contributions in Ed’s honor may be made to a charity of your choice.
