Driver ticketed after U-turn leads to collision on County Road 466

The driver of a pickup truck was ticketed after his U-turn prompted a collision with another vehicle on Wednesday on County Road 466 in Lady Lake.

Oliver C. Ramoso, 48, of Clermont at 5:02 p.m. had been at the wheel of a 2006 Honda Ridgeline pickup which had been westbound on County Road 466 and attempting to make a U-turn at Chula Vista Avenue when his truck collided with a 2017 Volvo driven by Yoon Jeong Cha, 20, of Mount Dora, according to an accident report from the Lady Lake Police Department. The Volvo had been eastbound on County Road 466.

A Volvo and a pickup collided Wednesday on County Road 466.

Ramoso was ticketed on a charge of careless driving.

Both drivers were checked out by Lake EMS and medically cleared.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
