A driver was ticketed after a four-vehicle crash on County Road 466 at Southern Trace Plaza.
The four vehicles had been westbound at 7:33 a.m. on County Road 466 at Preston Drive, according to the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.
Traffic was reportedly heavy.
The driver of the first vehicle slammed on its brakes, setting off the chain-reaction collision.
There were no injuries.
The driver of the fourth vehicle in the collision was issued a citation for following too closely.
