The driver of an automobile was ticketed after an accident Thursday morning at a roundabout in The Villages.
The accident occurred at about 11 a.m. in the roundabout at Buena Vista Boulevard and El Camino Real near Savannah Center.
The car had been northbound when it rear-ended a pickup truck which had stopped for a yield sign, according to the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.
The driver was ticketed on a charge of careless driving.
