Donald Furano

Donald Furano, age 80, of The Villages, FL, passed away on Thursday, August 23, 2018.

Don was born in Geneva, NY and lived there until his retirement. He was known by many as the Milkman for his lifelong career in the business. After retirement Don enjoyed life in Florida where he had many new friends, played golf regularly and worked as a starter at the Lopez Championship Golf Course.

Don is survived by his loving wife Ruth; daughter Annie (Dave) Osterhout; son Bob (Michele) and granddaughter Rachel.

Mass of Christian Burial Service will be celebrated at St. Mark The Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 7081 SE Highway 42, Summerfield, FL on Friday, September 7, 2018 at 10am followed by a reception in the church’s hall.

The family asks that in his honor, those attending dress casually and in colorful colors as Don loved bright colors. Hawaiian shirts would be great.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in honor of family members who have had the disease.
