Marion County deputies, detectives and K-9 units responded to an armed robbery at an Ocala Subway restaurant Sunday afternoon.
While en route to the restaurant, located at 6855 SE Maricamp Road, deputies were advised that black males brandishing a firearm had robbed the store and left behind the building.
The store’s manager and an employee told deputies that the men forcibly took money from the cash register while pointing a firearm at them. They said it appeared as if the men had something concealing their faces.
