Daughters of American Revolution present flag to commemorate 50th anniversary of Vietnam War

John Bartram Chapter NSDAR members, Jeanne Farren, Sheri Hudson, Connie Price, Linda Rivera and Geri Steckel, presented a flag, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam War on Nov. 15  to VFW Post 8083 in Belleview.

Steckel explained the meaning of the Vietnam Commemoration Seal on the flag. 

The John Bartram Chapter NSDAR presented a flag to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the Vietnam War.

In the blue field surrounding the seal were the words, “A Grateful Nation Thanks and Honors You.”

The John Bartram Chapter, as a 50th Anniversary Commemorative Partner with the Department of Defense, received the flag to honor all those who served and sacrificed in the Vietnam War.
