Contract letter carriers vs USPS carriers

To the Editor:

USPS is getting rid of our great contract carriers as their contracts expire in The Villages. Mine has been doing it for 14 years at half the pay of a USPS carrier,  and delivers large packages to her residents (you will have to pick them up at the post office) plus the USPS carrier gets all the benefits, health care, pension and up to 26 days paid vacation, 13 sick days and 10 holidays.  We will be paying more and mail service will be a lot slower.

Maybe we can turn this around.  Contact Congressman Daniel Webster at 202-225-1002 or 202-225-2176 or e-mail @ HTTPS://webster.house.govand ask him to help us keep these great mail carriers.
