Construction to begin on new assisted living center near Brownwood

Construction is set to begin at HarborChase of Wildwood, a 90,800-square-foot assisted living and memory care community, to be located on Powell Road not far from Brownwood.

Scheduled to open in October 2017, the luxury retirement community will feature 66 assisted living apartments and 26 memory care apartments, ranging from 372 to 674 square feet.

HarborChase of Wildwood, 7046 Powell Road, will feature full-service dining, a beauty salon, 24-hour staff, library, wellness center, cocktail lounges, rooftop terrace, scheduled transportation daily, housekeeping service, concierge services and multiple recreational rooms and programs.

HarborChase of Wildwood will be managed by Harbor Retirement Associates (HRA), a regional senior living development and management company based in Vero Beach, Fla. HRA is partnering on the project with Denver-based Confluent Development, a leading full-service real estate investment and development firm that owns and develops ground-up commercial real estate throughout the United States.

HarborChase of Wildwood will provide meaningful jobs for many local residents, and we look forward to serving the families and older adults of the Wildwood area for decades to come.”

HarborChase also has a location on U.S. Hwy. 27/441 across from The Villages Regional Hospital.
