Clyde Slocum Crosby

Clyde S. Crosby, 81, of Tampa, Florida, formerly of The Villages, FL, passed away on Thursday, March 22, 2018 in Tampa. He was born in Sale City, GA in 1937 to Richard & Maybell Crosby.

Clyde moved to Leesburg in 1941 and joined the Air Force after high school. He retired from the US Air Force after 20 years. The next 28 years, he was a health counselor with various clinics and hospitals, mostly in Louisiana.

Clyde is survived by his wife, Peggy J. Crosby; sisters, Gladys Davis, Bay Lake, FL and Deloris Denby, Lady Lake, FL.

A Memorial Service and Gathering of Friends and Family will be at 11 a.m. at Beyers Funeral Home Chapel at 1123 West Main Street, Leesburg, Florida with with Pastor Ralph Donohue officiating.
