Central Florida Health announces new chief clinical officer at Leesburg Regional Medical Center

Central Florida Health has announced that Joshua B. Fleming is the new chief clinical officer and site administrator for Leesburg Regional Medical Center.

Fleming comes to Central Florida Health from Indiana University Health West Central Region in Lafayette, Ind., where he served as chief nurse executive and vice president of patient care services. During his time there, he successfully led a number of mission-critical initiatives involving accreditation, financial performance, quality and patient experience.

Fleming has more than 15 years of healthcare leadership experience. He holds a master of health administration from Indiana University and earned his bachelor of science in Nursing from Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina.

“Leesburg Regional Medical Center has a long and storied history of making the health and wellness of the people in Lake, Sumter and Marion counties its top priority,” said Fleming. “I am honored to be part of such a great organization and to be part of this rich legacy of serving its community. I look forward to the opportunity to continue to focus on patient safety and outstanding clinical outcomes.”
