Burglars steal Oxycodone pills, array of tools from Ocala home’s detached garage

A Marion County sheriff’s deputy was called to an Ocala home Thursday after a man discovered that bandits had stolen several items from his detached garage.

When the deputy arrived at the home, located in the 14000 block of S. Magnolia Avenue, the man reported the crime took place somewhere between Friday, July 6 at 1 p.m. and Saturday, July 7 at 8 a.m.

The man reported items worth $2,293 missing. Those included prescription 30mg Oxycodone pills, a black leather wallet, his driver’s license, several drills, a hammer, three saws, a tool kit, a flashlight and a concrete nailer.
