Las Tapas has changed its name to the Bavarian Brewhouse.
Las Tapas has changed its name to the Bavarian Brewhaus.

Las Tapas restaurant switched from Spanish to German fare recently, but the change is somewhat more official as the Brownwood Paddock Square restaurant is sporting a new sign.

The Bavarian Brewhaus is touting authentic German-European cuisine. The menu includes Bavarian Knockwurst, brats, curry sausages, and veal and pork Schnitzel with red cabbage and applesauce.

Diners have the opportunity to wash down that German fare with American Ale, Bohemian Amber and Marzen brewed at the Bavarian Brewhaus Micro Brewery. The restaurant boasts that their beer is brewed under the German Purity law of year 1516. That means no chemicals, no preservatives, all natural, naturally carbonated, non filtered-whirl-pooled, non-pasteurized Austrian/German style beer. Tours of the brewery are available on Tuesday afternoons.
