The restaurant chain opened its first Cody’s at Lake Sumter Landing in the former home of Up the Creek Fish Camp and Grill. Cody’s success at the Lake Sumter Landing location inspired a second Cody’s in The Villages which opened in 2014 in Brownwood. There is also a Cody’s in Ocala.

Last year, Cody’s upgraded its patio at the Lake Sumter Landing location.
