Barbara Plante

Ms. Barbara Ann Plante of The Villages, FL, passed away on May 7, 2018 at the Ted and Diane Brandley Hospice House in Summerfield, FL. She was born on September 30, 1931 in Winamac, Indiana to Henry and Elma Mau.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Sgt. Richard Allen Plante, SR. She was the cherished mother to two sons Richard Allen Plante, Jr of Ocala, FL and Randall James Plante of Chapel Hill, NC.

She was a grandmother of five and great-grandmother of five. She was very active in her home church of Hope Lutheran. She will be remembered for loving to play the organ, cards and mahjong.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 25, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.

The Plante family would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to the Brandley Hospice House for their loving care of our dear mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
