Applications available for those seeking appointment to supervisor seats in CDD 3, CDD 4

Applications are available for those seeking appointment to supervisor seats in Community Development District 3 and Community Development District 4.

A seat opened up in CDD 3 following the death of Supervisor Marie McAvoy. CDD 3 supervisors are hoping to make an appointment in August to fill the vacancy.

Applications for the CDD 3 seat must be submitted to the District Clerk no later than 5 p.m. Tuesday, July 31 at the District Office, 984 Old Mill Run, The Villages.

In CDD 4, Supervisor Jim Brockman announced his resignation effective Sept. 14. CDD 4 supervisors hope to name a replacement on that date.

Applications for the CDD 4 seat must be submitted to the District Clerk no later than 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 31 at the District Office, 984 Old Mill Run, The Villages.
