Anna (Ann) Helen Walsh, age 79 of The Villages, FL, passed away peacefully on Sunday January 8, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Anna was the wife of the late Brendan B. Walsh. Anna was born in Philadelphia, PA resided in Dallas, PA and moved to The Villages, FL. in 2000.
Surviving are her 4 children: James (Laura) Walsh, Apex NC, Kathleen (Timothy) Flatley, Berwyn PA, Denise Walsh, Kingston PA and Brendan Jr. (Jennifer) Walsh, Lawrenceville, GA, 11 Grandchildren (Jennifer, Andrew, Kaitlyn, Kristina, Lauren, Bill, Roby, Brendan III, Keegan, Brett, Hattie) and 1 Great Grandchild (Ella Rose) and dearest sister, Hilda Petermann.
Anna was involved in many of The Villages activities and clubs. She treasured and adored the many friendships of her beautiful neighbors and friends. Always with a special smile and kind word she touched the lives of many. Her never ending love, courage and support will always be an inspiration to her children and grandchildren.
Friends and Family may call at the Beyers Funeral Home, The Villages/Lady Lake Fl. on Monday, January 16, 2017 from 5 to 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday January 17, 2017 at St. Mark the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, Summerfield Fl. Interment will follow at the Florida National Cemetery Bushnell, Fl. Anna will be laid to rest with her devoted husband of 44 years. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
