Alice Ann Wing

Alice Ann Wing, 83, of The Villages, FL, died peacefully on Sunday, February 4, 2018 surrounded by her loving family.

Alice was born on January 30, 1935 in Randolph, Maine. Fred and Alice built a life together by Eddington Pond in Maine. She loved sitting by the lake in her screen house. She loved to sing and listen to music, play cards with family and friends and walk the beach when they lived in Old Orchard Beach, Maine. They were members of the Eastern Maine Snowmobile Club. They moved to The Villages in 1997 to enjoy retirement together.

Alice is survived by her beloved husband of 59 years, Fred. She is also survived by her daughter Terri (Gary) Messer of Tallahassee, FL and son Jeff (Holly) Wing of Huntsville, AL. She leaves her grandchildren Lauren and Kayla Messer, Brad (Clarissa) Wing, Rachel (Caleb) Nabors and Nicole (Patrick) Tankersley. Alice also leaves five great granddaughters, her sister Eva Benson and brother Joe McLaughlin. She was predeceased by her parents Edith and Arnold McLaughlin and 10 brothers and sisters.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, February 8 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Beyers Funeral Home, 134 North Highway 27/441 Lady Lake, FL.

Burial will be in the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery at a later date.
