Alder L. ‘Al’ Dudley

Alder “Al” L. Dudley, 79, of The Villages, FL, passed away on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at his residence.  Born on July 15, 1938 in Hudson, Mass to the proud parents of Alder & Patricia (Campbell) Dudley.

Al was a retired electrical engineer for TRW and Benchmark Companies.  He was a sports fan for all of the Boston teams, loved to fish and go for long walks on the beach.  He also was a wine connoisseur and collected fine vintages thru the years.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 22 years, Katherine Dudley of The Villages; his two daughters: Denise (Alan) Sandler & Paula (Dan) Muller, both of N.H.; his son, Wayne Dudley of N.H. and a granddaughter, Madison Muller, also of N.H.

A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held on Monday, April 23, 2018 @ 6 p.m. at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 1511 Buenos Aires Blvd., The Villages, FL with a reception following the service.  The family will receive friends for a viewing from 4 – 6 p.m. prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Al’s honor to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.
