Legendary runner Jeff Galloway to be featured guest at Healthy Lifestyle Expo

Legendary runner and coach Jeff Galloway will be the featured guest at a Healthy Lifestyle Expo set for Tuesday, Feb. 16 at the Wildwood Community Center.

Galloway is an Olympian, the runDisney official trainer, founder of Run Walk Run, and author of the best-selling running book, “Galloway’s Book on Running.”

Debbie Diroff of the Village of Charlotte embraced Galloway’s training methods and earlier this year completed the Dopey Challenge at Disney World which included a 5K, 10K, half marathon and marathon run on four consecutive days. You can read about her amazing accomplishment HERE

So enthused by Galloway’s methods, she and Villager Debbie Winters decided to bring the celebrated coach to the area. Winters and Diroff are both members of the Mickey’s Fanatics club in The Villages.

Doors open at 1 p.m. for the Feb. 16 event.

Twenty-minute topics to improve your fitness will be offered at 1:15 p.m.; 2 and 3 p.m.

Local fitness vendors will also be on hand.
