Villager hopes fellow residents will come out and strut their mutts for humane society

When is the last time you and your dog had a chance to save a life?

On Saturday, Feb. 13, dogs and their owners will have that opportunity when the second annual “Strut Your Mutt” charity dog walk comes to the Villages Polo Fields. Registration begins at 8 a.m. and the Strut at 9 a.m.

There will be live entertainment by Scooter the DJ ,a Chinese auction,  demonstrations, Paw Prints and several vendors will also be present. All of the money raised goes to The Humane Society/SPCA of Sumter County.

The Strut Your Mutt charity walk was founded by Villager Debbie Smith last year and raised $10,000 to benefit animals in need. (You can read more HERE) She has been a pet owner for many years and a volunteer for the Sumter County humane society.
