Marion Jerkins Waldron of Summerfield, Fl, passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2024, at the Bradley Hospice House.

Marion was born in Vero Beach and was a lifelong resident of Marion County. She retired from the Marion County School Board after working for many years as The Lunchroom Manager.

She is a Charter Member of the First Baptist Church of Summerfield, FL and enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family.

Marion is preceded in death by her husband Roland D. Waldron, daughters Janice Henry, and Dianne Atkins, and son Dan Waldron, 2 sisters Vivian Edger and Betty Jean Keen, 2 brothers Charlie Jerkins and Lawrence Jerkins.

Marion is survived by her devoted son Roland “Wayne” Waldon of Summerfield, she has 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren, 9 great-great grandchildren. The Family will have a viewing at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Chapel, 5946 SE Robinson Road on Friday, September 13th from 5:00pm to 7:00pm all are welcome to visit with the family.

Marion’s celebration of life is going to be on Saturday, September 14, at 10:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church, 14550 SE 65th Court Summerfield, FL 34491. The committal services will follow with the burial at Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens 5050 SW 20th Street, Ocala, FL 34474.
