April 17, 1927 – February 1, 2024

Thomas Lee Parks, of The Villages, Florida, passed away on February 1st, 2024 after a short illness.

Tom was born in Birmingham, AL on Easter Sunday, April 17th, 1927. He was the son of Charles McDuffey and Della May Eastis Parks. Tom attended Norwood Grammar School, Phillips High School and Howard College. He then joined the US Navy and proudly served his country overseas during World War II. After this time, he spent over 50 years working in Sales, Marketing, Property & Management.

Tom was most proud of his extensive travels over the years and the fact that he was a great-great grandfather. The biggest highlight of his latter years was his participation in The Villages Honor Flight and he was always thankful for this unique experience.

Tom was preceded in death by a sister (Susan Clancey) a brother (Charles William) his wife (Norma Jean Myers Parks) and his son (Thomas Barry Parks.) He is survived by his grandson, Thomas Jayson Parks (Sarah), his great granddaughter Sierra (Cristian,) his great grandson Jack, a great-great grandson (Jayden) and his goddaughter Julie Pittman. His wit and wisdom will be greatly missed by all of those who knew him.
