Cullen Robert Murphy of Ocala, formerly of The Villages, FL passed away Saturday, August 26.

He was born November 10, 1939 in Berlin, NH. Son of Robert Owen and Dorothy Tourangeau Murphy.

Cullen graduated from Berlin High School and Wentworth institute of Technology, Boston, MA. He proudly served in the United States Army; ASA, stationed in Asmara, Eritrea. He married the love of his life on October 19, 1963. They were married for 54 years. He was looking forward to being with his Kathleen. Cullen’s professional life was as a CEO and CEI of numerous corporations in the Health Care Industry.

He was pre deceased by his parents Robert and Dorothy and by his wife, Kathleen.

He is survived by his sister Colleen Phinney (husband William) of Minneapolis, MN. Daughters Maureen Porter (Douglas) Leesburg, FL.; Colleen Harper, also of Leesburg. Eileen Murphy-Schmehl (Chris) of Laureldale, PA. He is also survived by 4 grandsons; Sean Szmal (wife, Emilu) of Danville, PA.; Matthew Szmal of Nanticoke, PA.; Jareth Schmehl of Philadelphia, PA.; Ben Murphy/Schmehl of Bethleham, PA., 2 great grandchildren; Lily and Colin Szmal of Danville, PA.
