Dunkin’ Donuts or Starbucks? Dunkin’ has clear lead in Villages

M_coffee 0004The answer to the “Dunkin’ or Starbucks?” question appears to be Dunkin’ here in The Villages.

With the announcement that Dunkin’ Donuts will be locating a store in Brownwood Paddock Square, Dunkin’ takes a clear lead here in The Villages.

Dunkin’ Donuts already has locations in Spanish Springs Town Square, Spanish Plaines shopping plaze and Southen Trace shopping plaza.

The Spanish Springs Town Square Dunkin’ Donuts was formerly a Starbucks. That Starbucks closed in July 210 and was converted into a Dunkin’ Donuts.

Starbucks still has two popular locations here — one at Lake Sumter Landing Market Square and the other at the corner of U.S. Hwy. 27/441 and Rolling Acres Road.

The Dunkin’ Donuts at Brownwood Paddock Square is scheduled to open this fall.

Which do you prefer? Dunkin’ or Starbucks?
