An angry woman was arrested after allegedly using her elbow to move a man out of her path.

Katherine Lynn Mangione, 36, who lives at Oakland Hills in Lady Lake, was arrested on a charge of battery early Thursday by Sumter County sheriff’s deputies. A man told deputies that Mangione was “angry” and “began to push and scratch him,” according to an arrest report.

Mangione told deputies she had simply used her elbow to move the man from her path.

She was taken into custody and booked at the Sumter County Detention Center where she was initially held without bond.
