Bruce A. Pearson, 78, of The Villages, Florida passed away March 18, 2014. He was born on February 4, 1936 in Jersey City, New Jersey to Arthur and Mildred (Flentje) Pearson.
He was a graduate of Weehawken High School. Bruce is a veteran who proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He was the successful President of ABC Moving and Storage Company. Bruce and his family relocated to Florida from Paramus, New Jersey.
Bruce loved sports and particularly enjoyed watching the New York Yankees and the New York Giants. He was a dedicated father and friend to all.
Bruce is survived by his wife of 55 years, Carol June Pearson, The Villages, FL; daughter and her fiance’, Debbie Love and Keith Schoeppler, son and his wife, Glen and Celina Pearson, three grandchildren, Ashley Love, Brianna Jack, Madison Pearson, all of Clermont, FL.
The family will receive friends at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, The Villages on Sunday from 4:00PM – 6:00PM Funeral services will be on Monday at 11:00 a.m. with viewing one half hour prior at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, The Villages with Pastor Norman Lee Schaffer officiating. Entombment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Leesburg, FL.
