Brenda W. Rimes, 72, of Wildwood, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2020.

Mrs. Rimes was born November 3, 1947 in Atlanta, GA to James Hoyt Whitfield, Sr and Hazel Womack Whitfield. Brenda has lived here all her adult life and retired as an at-home caregiver. She truly loved taking care of others and her family.

Survivors include her children Christy Cason (Gator Morris) of Wildwood, Brett Rimes of Summerfield and Jeanne McDonald (Joey) of Oxford; father, Hoyt Whitfield of Wildwood; siblings, Lisa Barnes, Mark Whitfield (Joyce) and Annette Barnes; 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Brenda was preceded in death by her mother; sister, Evelyn; brother, Whit and loving husband, Stokes.

Due to Covid-19, the family requests that social distancing be observed. Graveside services will be held 10:00 am, Friday, May 1, 2020 in Greenwood Cemetery, Wildwood.
